BEVERLY WALKER BELL REMAINS AS CAMERON PRINCIPAL

Nashville Metro Schools immediately began the week of May 18, 2009 replacing teachers, administrators and other staff in at least five Metro schools which had unfortunately missed performance benchmarks over the years. The five schools affected are Whites Creek High, Napier Elementary, John Early Paideia Middle, Schwab Elementary and Cameron Middle. Due to the federal NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND law, these and other schools are being reconstituted with new faculty, staff and administration. Fortunately, for Cameron School our principal, Mrs. Beverly W. Bell, will remain at Cameron for an unspecified amount of time.
On June 18th, 2009 the district announced
principal appointments for 15 elementary schools, five middle schools and one
high school. These changes are in addition to eight (8) principal appointments announced earlier in the week. All new appointments will take
effect by July 1st, 2009.
We are grateful to the Metro Nashville School Board for allowing our principal
to complete her vision and goals for Cameron this year. We ask all alumni, friends, former
faculty and others to support Cameron in any way that you can as well as our
principal, Mrs. Bell. We hope to interview Mrs. Bell soon about her goals for
the upcoming school year and publish it here on this website.
